The Snowdon Area area of Snowdonia National Park, Gwynedd is enclosed by Llyn Peris to the North, the A4086 (Dyffryn Mymbyr & The Pass of Llanberis) to the North East, the A498 (Llyn Gwynant, Nant Gwynant and Llyn Dinas) to the East & South East, Beddgelert to the South, the A4085 (Nant Conwyn, Llyn Cwellyn & Nant y Betws) to the South West and the edge of the Snowdonia National Park to the North West.
If you include just the Mountains (Hewitts) and the Nuttalls there are 12 tops to climb, bag & conquer and the highest point is Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) at 1,085m (3,561ft).
