Fellow go4awalkers who have already walked, climbed, summited & bagged High Raise (Langdale)
Kevin Foster walked up on June 8th, 2020 [from/via/route] Grasmere walk c428 [with] By myself. [weather] Cloudy but summits clear. - Compared to the long and interesting approach to Thunacar Knot the next short climb to High Raise was a little bit boring (sorry). However as befitting the fell's central position and height there is a fantastic 360 degree panorama of the whole Lake District.
Sarah Culverhouse climbed on August 14th, 2020 [from/via/route] NDG [with] Mary Puppins [weather] glorious sunshine
Andy Buxton bagged during November, 1989 [from/via/route] From NDG: Blea Rigg, Sergeant Mann, High Raise and Thunacar Knott [with] Solo [weather] Very dreary - I was glad I didn't waste a decent day on this one!
Nick Dobson hiked on July 21st, 2020 [from/via/route] Stonethwaite over Eagle Crag and along ridge to Seargents's Crag before continuing to High Raise [with] Margaret and Ralph [weather] Bright sunny clear day. - continued back north along the dreary trudge to Ullscarf.
Angela Moroney summited during May, 2017 [with] 3PEAKS
Adrian Howard conquered on September 6th, 2014 [from/via/route] Dungeon Ghyll Car park
Andrew Johnson scaled on October 14th, 2019 [from/via/route] New Dungeon Ghyl [with] Ted [weather] Cloudy, misty on tops
Richard Marchant walked up on December 21st, 1986 [from/via/route] For this walk we used two cars. One car we left at Thirlmere and then piled in to the other car and drove it round to Langdale to start the walk. This route took us from New Dungeon Ghyll up Stickle Ghyll to Stickle Tarn where we ascended between Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark and then went on to Thunacar Knott on to High Raise, then along to Low White Stone-Greenup Edge then down to Wythburn. [with] Nick Harker, Chris Aylen and Mark Howard [weather] Blue Skies, very cold and quite a bit of snow with a snow line at about 400m - 4 Navy lads on a 4 day stay in the Lakes before going our separate ways to our homes to spend the rest of our Xmas leave with our families. A great 4 days in the Lakes where we each had a day leading our own walks. We did 1) Helvellyn, 2) Great Gable, 3) Langdale over to Thirlmere and 4) Fairfield Horseshoe
Lucy Perchard climbed on May 20th, 2018 [from/via/route] Part of an 8 Wainwright walk including the Langdale Pikes [with] Tony [weather] Lovely - Fantastic views of numerous other peaks
Craig Steeland bagged on June 24th, 2018 [from/via/route] Roadside car park north of Grasmere [with] Sue [weather] Hot and sunny with no wind.
