Geoff Hand walked up on January 27th, 2022 [from/via/route] Walk c144 Sergeant Man from Grasmere. [with] Alone with Tess [weather] Broken cloud & sun, showery, getting clearer as day went on. - Unfortunately main thing which will remain in my mind about thid walk was trapping my finger in the car rear door just as I was setting off! Lots of pain, blood & confusion for most of the walk.
Richard Marchant climbed on January 4th, 2022 [from/via/route] Parked the car alongside the A591 just along from the Black Swan in a roadside lay-by used by walkers. Then walked straight into Grasmere then out of it on the Easedale Road leading to a footpath alongside Easedale Beck & on to Easedale Tarn. From the Tarn cut up North on past Greathead Crag & then followed the ridge up to Tarn Crag & on to Codale Head then round to Sergeant Man. From here it was Southeast direction following the ridge to Blea Rigg & on to Silver How & back down into Grasmere. [with] Solo [weather] Clear cold frosty day with a dusting of snow on the tops.
Carl Tillotson bagged on July 24th, 2021 [from/via/route] c144 route with High Raise added [with] June [weather] Slightly cloudy, warm day.

Christine Shepherd walked up on August 2nd, 2010 [from/via/route] Walked from Grasmere using walk c144 Climbed again on 15.9.20. with my friend Jenny. Climbed again with a group from Head 4 the Hills 31.5.21 [with] On my own [weather] Sunny & hot - This was my penultimate Wainwright. I spent the night before at Grasmere Thorney Howe Youth Hostel & learnt that it was soon to close. I felt quite sad as it was a hostel that i had stayed at on several happy occasions.
Claire Murray climbed on May 29th, 2021 [from/via/route] Parked in Grasmere. Silver How, Blea Rigg, Sergeant Man, High Raise & Tarn Crag. [with] Vitor [weather] Lovely day. Was sunny but not to hot. - Lovely walk. East to start with & some stunningly laid stone paths to follow. The last part of the track was a stone path beside a river with the sheep fenced it & it was so beautiful!
