Claire Murray walked up on October 25th, 2020 [from/via/route] Helm Crag, Gibson Knott, Calf Crag and Steel Fell from Grasmere [with] Vitor [weather] Sunny, windy and a drop of hail - Lovely walk, lots of climbing and £6 to park in Grasmere
Kevan Cassley climbed on August 16th, 2020 [from/via/route] Steel Fell, Calf Crag, Gibson Knott & Helm Crag from Grasmere [with] wife Amanda & daughter India plus dog Bentley [weather] Mainly dry but some rain & heavy showers, visibility good - Bad start as my boot soles decided to detach themselves after 1 mile in whilst still on road, decided to carry on. Herdwick socks rubbed bad on my heal resulting in bad skinned heel, sock removed now in flip-flop boots and no sock and it started raining heavily (not great!). Sun was out most of time and a very enjoyable route apart from kit lit issues (new boots & socks now purchased!)
