A bit cloudy at the summit. - After having climbed Scafell Pike on that same Saturday 15/8, I then went for Snowdon. My husband drove me to Wales. I started following the Miner's Track. Beautiful scenery, easy path until you reached the area near the summit, which is very rocky & difficult. I saw a helicopter lifting an injured person. I was a bit frightened as I was starting my ascent when everybody was coming down. I did not see anyone going up. I decided to carry on anyway. A bit of "feel the fear & do it anyway" Luckily a big group of about 10 young, fit men & women caught up with me. They came from the Pyg track. I felt reassured & happy as I was not the only one going up so late in the afternoon. My intention was to descend via the Miner's Track too. Somehow I ended up descending via Llanberis Path. On the descent I could see the big group ahead of me. Suddenly they disappeared. I ended up going down completely alone & it was getting dark, somehow I felt calm. In summary, I started at 5.30 PM, got to the top at 7.45. Reached the bottom at LLanberis (unintentionally) at 9.30 PM. Hip hip Hurray
