Kevin Foster bagged Kidsty Pike on May 17th, 2019 [from/via/route] Rampsgill Head [with] Henry. [weather] Sunny & hot to begin with becoming cloudier later in the day with a cold northerly breeze. - After Rampsgill Head the next two tops come in rapid succession with minimal effort. First Kidsty Pike which is just a short stroll across grass & must only just qualify as a separate top because the height gain from the col doesn't feel anything like 50 feet. In fact, after checking my Wainwright book, there appears to be only a height gain of 35 feet from the col with Ramspgill Head. Yet Kidsty Pike qualifies & The Knott doesn't. Who decides these things? Anyway whatever, the birds eye view of Riggindale from the small cairn perched above steep crags is worthy of any mountain.
