Phil Higgins walked up on December 31st, 2008 [from/via/route] Green Gable via Windy Gap onto Great Gable [with] Tilly [weather] Fog at Honister, before emerging into billions sunshine. Bright, cold day - With Tilly.
Andy Buxton climbed on June 22nd, 1980 [from/via/route] From Seathwaite, via Climbers' Traverse and Great Hell Gate; return over Green Gable and Base Brown [with] Ian Wright [weather] Hot
Richard Beardsley bagged on July 29th, 2020 [from/via/route] Route C442 from Honister Pass. [with] Gillian, Lisa, Andy, Abigail (10) and Jessica (7). [weather] Overcast all day with partial sunshine and windy on summits. - Parked at slate mine (£5) and commenced walk at 1100hrs. Followed the route guide throughout and summited Grey Knotts and Brandeth where we had lunch. Continued onto the tops of Green Gable and Great Gable along with other walkers taking advantage of a rain free day. After a careful descent from Great Gable we strolled back to the car park arriving back at 1730hrs. A thoroughly enjoyable day out with tired children.

Christine Shepherd summited on July 19th, 2003 [from/via/route] Walked from Honister Hause over Grey Knotts and Brandreth [with] Friends Miriam and Andy and Miriam's granddaughter Ishmay aged 7. [weather] Hot and breezy - I have climbed Green Gable again from Borrowdale Youth Hostel; on 18.6.10 with my friend Jenny and then while leading a group of walkers from St Georges Church Leeds on 26.6.10 using walk c241. On the first of these walks Jenny and I also added Fleetwith Pike before descending to Honister. Climbed again on a bright Autumn day on 30.11.19.

Richard Marchant scaled on August 3rd, 1991 [from/via/route] Parked the car at Seathwaite and then went up Seathwaite Slabs on to Base Brown to Green Gable up to Great Gable down to Sty Head and followed Sty Head Gill back down to Seathwaite. [with] Nick Harker [weather] A fine day with a slight breeze and partially cloudy with out breaks of sunshine - A day out in the Lakes with my Best Man and old Navy pal Nick Harker. Just another great memory of past Lakeland trips.
