Christine Shepherd walked up Looking Stead (Pillar) on October 4th, 2015 [from/via/route] Walked from Wasdale Head. Just went up and down this fell as I had done the rest of the Mosedale Horseshoe before but had missed out this one. It was well worth doing for the lovely views. There is a lovely little tarn and the grassy approach made a pleasant change from the rougher path on the ascent. [with] On my own [weather] A bit duller than the day before but warm for October and clear enough for good views. - My last 2000ft Mountain in the Lake District bagged!
