Colin Egan bagged on April 3rd, 2017 [from/via/route] From Grasmere up via Sourmill Gill to Easedale Tarn and then on to the fell, returned via the east ridge and Stythwaite Steps. [with] My wife Faith [weather] Sunny day with some cloud, wind very cold and strong near summit. Standing still for summit photo was a bit of a challenge - A lovely short day on the fells, Easedale Tarn is beautiful and so peaceful. The route up from tarn to fell top was difficult to find, partly my own fault as we looked across to the fell and decided where the path was based on a line we saw across the fell but this was not a real path! The route down was sometimes a challenge as paths just petered out at the brink of a big drop requiring a bit of skirting round, but it was still a good day overall.
