Geoff Hand climbed Little Mell Fell on February 28th, 2025 [from/via/route] Parking close to Brownrigg Farm we first headed to up to Great Mell fell. A steep decent & a pleasent walk aroun the foot of the hill then passed Brownriig farm to Greenrow farm & upto Littel Mell Fell. Then a Southern decent & then headed West & back towards Brownrigg Farm. [with] With Claire my daughter [weather] Beautiful sunshine all day. - amazing views of Helvelyn massive, Coledale, Blencathra with Skiddaw in the background not to mention all the fells to the East of Ullswater. Cracking day!

Climbed again from the Camp Site using walk 380 on 8.6.22 [with] On my own [weather] Fine - Enjoyed the walk up Great Mell Fell but bagging this one wasn't as easy as a man with two large dogs prevented me from 'going up a drive to meet a road'. He said he didn't want the 50 yards of his drive to become a right of way! Had to go a mile or so out of my way to get to the road.

I feel this fell would be a beautiful place to linger & enjoy the views which were much more appealing than anticipated. No issues at all other than steepness. Would be great with children.
