Walked ridge to Larch & Oak wood & on to top where we found a smaall cairn marking the top. Good views, but it was raining & limited views acros Helvelyn range a little. [with] With Bill Dale and Mark (Karens boyfriend)and Mya Poppy (Who was sick in my car enroute for walk!). [weather] Forcast spot on, rain at 10am, rained throughout the walk with some string wind at times. Most unpleasant, especially the latter part of the walk after lunch from car. - We returned to car for coffee & shelter due to rain. Set off towards Little Mell Fell & Gowbarrow, but got rained off & did a small circular route via 'The Hill' & back along road to car for drying out & some lunch.
