Mynyddoedd Cambria (The Cambrian Mountains) is located in Central Wales and covers part of Ceredigion, Powys and Carmarthenshire. It is the area enclosed by:
- The Snowdonia National Park boundary from Aberdyfi (Aberdovey) to Bwlch y Groes, a minor road to Llyn Efymwy, the B4393 to Llanfyllin, the A490 to Bwlch-y-cibau and the A495 to Llynclys to the North
- The border between Wales and England from Llynclys to Hay-on-Wye to the East
- The boundary of the Brecon Beacons National Park from Hay-on-Wye to Ffairfach and then the A476 & B4300 to Carmarthen to the South
- The A484 from Caerfyrddin (Carmarthen) to Cynwy Elfed, the B4333 to Newcastle Emlyn and then the A484 to Ceredigion/Cardigan to the South West
- The Irish Sea from Ceredigion (Cardigan) to Aberdyfi (Aberdovey) to the West
