Herdwick socks rubbed bad on my heal resulting in bad skinned heel, sock removed now in flip-flop boots & no sock & it started raining heavily (not great!). Sun was out most of time & a very enjoyable route apart from kit lit issues (new boots & socks now purchased!)

[with] My youngest son Tom [weather] Fine clear sunny day all the through the day.
