A small country lane took us down to Helmside where we took a footpath that led us up on to Steele Fell then followed the ridge round to Calf Crag and then descended the ridge down to Gibson Knott and finally on to Helm Crag and down back to the car. [with] My youngest son Tom [weather] Fine clear sunny day all the through the day.
