Mark Hazelton scaled on May 23rd, 2021 [from/via/route] Walked from centre of Grasmere village. A 7 mile classic circuit of Steel Fell, Clf Crag, Gibson's Knott & Helm Crag. [with] Family and Pepper and very few others were out given the weather. [weather] Very windy & extremely wet

Herdwick socks rubbed bad on my heal resulting in bad skinned heel, sock removed now in flip-flop boots & no sock & it started raining heavily (not great!). Sun was out most of time & a very enjoyable route apart from kit lit issues (new boots & socks now purchased!)
