Elaine Evans conquered on July 16th, 2019 [from/via/route] From Wasdale Head, up to Black Sail Pass, continued ascent to Pillar then Red Pike, over to Dore Head, then descent via scree slope to valley and back to Wasdale Head. [with] Sue [weather] Lovely day, dry with a gentle breeze. - Amazing views, beautiful day but never, ever descending via that route again! Didn't like that part at all!

Richard Marchant scaled on November 23rd, 1993 [from/via/route] This was a two day trip with an overnight camp at Beckhead Tarn below Great Gable. Day 1 we ascended Yewbarrow then onto Red Pike-Scoat Fell-Pillar-Kirk Fell and descended to Beckhead Tarn and camped the night and what a cold night. Day 2 Great Gable-Scafell Pike via the corridor route then Sca Fell and back down to Wasdale and the car. [with] Best Friend Ray Collins. [weather] Clear blue skies, no wind but very cold and in the minus overnight
