Sarah Moore climbed Great Dodd on October 8th, 2022 [from/via/route] c239 / The Deepdale Round [with] On my own [weather] Variable - cooler as befits Autumn but the mist / rain came in a couple of times. Still loved it - Not sure about the ascent of Clough Head & walking back along the road felt a bit of a cop out - but a great walk & more peaks ticked off!
Christine Shepherd bagged Great Dodd on October 1st, 2006 [from/via/route] Walked from Dockray using walk c146. [with] On my own [weather] Bright Autumn sunshine. - A rather grassy walk for me. I prefer something more rugged. Unfortunately, I lost a good fleece & my waterproof trousers on this walk, when the zip on my rucksack opened without me realising. Nice views though.Did this again on a glorious July day using c239. 31.07.20 Enjoyed it much more this time. Climbed again, repeating walk c239, on 27.07.2022
Caroline Winter hiked Great Dodd on April 15th, 2022 [from/via/route] Parked on road to Threlkeld mining museum, track past Setmabanning caravan park, direct line up to Clough Head, then to Great Dodd [with] Becky [weather] Warm & windy - Nice shelter a Great Dodd, where a few of us gathered to eat lunch, before they headed off towards, Helvellyn. For us, an easy return, descending eastern flanks of Clough head

Richard Marchant conquered Great Dodd on September 16th, 2021 [from/via/route] I parked the car in St John's in the Vale & ascended Clough Head first via Wanthaite Bank from here carried on South along the ridge taking in Calfhow Pike, Great Dodd, Watson's Dodd, Stybarrow Dodd then down to Sticks Pass & up to Raise from here I back tracked down to Sticks Pass. I proceeded down to Stybeck Farm along the A591 & ascended High Rigg on the way back to the car. [with] By Myself. [weather] Light Cloud with a light Breeze to start with, then late morning the clouds broke & blessed with Sunny intervals - 6 Wainwrights Bagged today making my total to date climbed to 107 I have reached the halfway point today.
Clare Tait scaled Great Dodd on July 25th, 2021 [from/via/route] From High Row car park taking in Clough Head [with] Charlie [weather] Warm, blue sky, great walking weather. Perfect. - No 63 Wainwright. Stayed in Glenridding & set off early as had been advised parking is limited. Set off at 8. Perfect! No boggy ground as it had dried out, only soft grass until the old coach road which went on seemingly for ever. The horseflies were evil though & Charlie got three bites!
