Christine Shepherd climbed on October 1st, 2006 [from/via/route] Walked from Dockray using walk c146. [with] On my own [weather] Bright Autumn sunshine. - A rather grassy walk for me. I prefer something more rugged. Unfortunately, I lost a good fleece and my waterproof trousers on this walk, when the zip on my rucksack opened without me realising. Nice views though.Did this again on a glorious July day using c239. 31.07.20 Enjoyed it much more this time.

John Bryers has climbed [from/via/route] Parked at Smaithwaite bridge walked ridge to top of High Rigg, down into St Johns church and across road up old coach road, through old quarry onto fell and up to top of Clough Head and along ridge to top of Great Dodd. Very, very windy and in cloud. Stopped in shelter, south of summit for a quick lunch. [with] With Mya my faithful 11 year old Patterdale Terrier. [weather] Started out OK, but soon wind and rain became the norm! Ended up wet through after completing the St Johns Vale skyline.
