Richard Marchant bagged White Side on January 20th, 2022 [from/via/route] Parked at Glenridding's main car park & headed out of the car park & the road leading to the YHA for a short distance then it was up the Rake & on to Glenridding Dodd. From here it was up Heron Pike & on to Sheffield Pike, across to Hart Side back to Green Side & then Sticks Pass. Up on to Raise then south to White Side & onwards to Lower Man & the summit of Helvellyn. Then down Swirral Edge on to Catstye Cam & then down Glenridding Beck to the car. [with] Solo [weather] A very clear cold frosty day with blue skies all day long.

Paul Talbot-Greaves hiked White Side on July 30th, 2021 [from/via/route] Lay by above Kings head pub on A591 [with] Paul Drury and Andy Bailey [weather] Sat out heavy rain in the morning then set off for walk after lunch. Rain was forecast but it was just cloud & slightly warmer. - Paths petered out & required navigating across steep, rough grass ground.

Martin Woods conquered White Side on June 6th, 2021 [from/via/route] From Patterdale - Birks to Fairfield round to Hellvelyn & down to Glenridding [with] Ackers and Crush [weather] Sun, 22 deegrees v.little breeze

Mark Hazelton scaled White Side on May 2nd, 2021 [from/via/route] Walked from Thirlspot Farm Campsite almost using walk C113, joining the trail of people ascending from Swirls CP at the foot of the steps up to Browncove Crags, then Lower Man, Hellvyllen & back to White Side before dropping over Brown Crags & back to the campsite [with] Family and Pepper and lots of others who had come up from both Swirls CP and along Striding Edge [weather] Overcast bitterly cold spring day
