Richard Marchant climbed on April 22nd, 2022 [from/via/route] Parked at Binsey Cottage & walked the road to High Ireby, from here we went west along a Bridleway to the Roman Fort of Caermote. Then we followed a track across Whittas Park up on to Binsey Fell & over back down to the car. [with] With my Pennine Way Buddy and long time friend Ray [weather] Dry Day with Hazy views early doors but did become sunny & clear in the afternoon

Clare Tait bagged on February 21st, 2022 [from/via/route] From minor road. Easy parking. Straight up & down in an hour. [with] Charlie [weather] In amidst three named storms, a beautiful day allowed us to bag Binsey & Dodd. A nice brace of fells. - No. 77 Wainwright. Such a lovely fell to climb in February. Unexpectedly beautiful views.

Rob Barklamb has walked up - Out there on its own, it's easy to hate Binsey as the Wainwright that taunts you - but it offers great views over to Skiddaw. I was there on a warm hazy day, but the view must be fantastic at sunset on a cold, clear day.

[with] Millie - rest of fellwalkers were climbing Grizedale Pike but as I was doing night climb up Blencathra did something less strenuous. [weather] Absolutely freezing - coldest I can remember. Windchill factor made for uncomfortable walking. - Cloudy & windy - but it did stay dry!!
