Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:

At 30m (100ft), Hardraw Force is the tallest single drop waterfall in England (above ground). It lies on private ground and can only be accessed through the Green Dragon Inn in Hardraw (fee payable - this is Yorkshire!). The volume of water is relatively small so the falls are best viewed after heavy rain.

Great Shunner Fell is also known as an English Nuttall (112th in England, 191st in England & Wales) and a Marilyn (27th in England, 552nd in the UK).

Completing this walk also take you to the top of Lovely Seat, 675m (2215ft). Lovely Seat is classified as an English Mountain (Hewitt) (118th in England, 203rd in England & Wales). Lovely Seat is also known as an English Nuttall (159th in England, 269th in England & Wales).
