Tryfan is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (16th in Wales, 24th in England & Wales). Tryfan is classified as a Marilyn (6th highest in Wales, 209th highest in the UK).

Completing this walk also take you to the top of Y Foel Goch, 805m (2642ft). Y Foel Goch is classified as a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (33rd highest in Wales, 70th highest in England & Wales) and a Wainwright (No. ). Y Foel Goch is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (42nd in Wales, 86th in England & Wales).

You will also reach the summit of Gallt yr Ogof, 763m (2504ft). Gallt yr Ogof is classified as a Welsh Mountain (Hewitt) (45th highest in Wales, 110th highest in England & Wales) and a Wainwright (No. ). Gallt yr Ogof is also known as a Welsh Nuttall (55th in Wales, 133rd in England & Wales).
