Then straight down to Wasdale Head [with] Ran Mackay, Alfi and Tess. [weather] Started cloudy & cleared into a beautiful sunny afternoon - It was the toughest day out in the fells I've had to date.
Christine Shepherd scaled on July 15th, 2006 [from/via/route] Walked from Longthwaite Youth Hostel. After climbing Glaramara & Allen Crags using walk c301 from go4awalk there was enough time to bag Great End before heading down via Taylor Force. [with] Walkers from St George's Church Leeds. We were on a weekend away and I was leading an 'All Day Energetic Walk'. [weather] Glorious sunshine. - Enjoyed a swim in Styhead Tarn to cool off after a wonderful day's walking. Climbed this again on 3.10.15 after climbing Scafell Pike from Wasdale Head. Climbed again on 25.04.2023 adding this fell onto c371 from Great Landale.
Iain Jones walked up on August 30th, 2014 [from/via/route] The Old Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, Great Langdale [with] Steven Hunt - 26 August 2017 - The Wainwright 60 - Day 6 (Scafell); 17 September 2022 - walked via Corridor Route from Seatoller

Kevin Foster bagged it on May 19th, 2022 [from/via/route] National Trust car park, Brackenclose, Wasdale Head. [with] By myself. [weather] Early cloud on Scafells lifting by midday then sunny. - A faint path beside Greta Gill took me to the col above Calf Cove. Here I turned left & headed to the wide summit of Great End with it's three summit cairns. I saw no one which was surprising as there were lots of people about on the main highway to Scafell Pike. Another top for the peak baggers only it seems?
