Melfyn Parry walked up on August 7th, 2022 [from/via/route] Started walk from car park at Idwal Cottage, headed up left side of Llyn Idwal to ascend to ridge through Devils Kitchen. Path is straight forward & brings you out at Llyn Cwn. Turn right & ascend to summit of Y Garn, then drop over & down to the left to follow ridge to Foel Goch. Cross over style & continue down to Bwlch y Brecan, cross over fence & follow path which basically follows the route of the A5 going through the Mushroom Gardens before joining path that comes down from Y Garn, then follow this back down to car park [with] PRC [weather] A sunny day & very warm at times, especially along path through Mushroom Gardens as well sheltered here. - An really enjoyable walk with stunning views.
