Lucy Perchard walked up Crookstone Knoll (Kinder Scout) on July 24th, 2018 [from/via/route] Up Blackden Brook & along Blackden Edge to the Edale Moor trig, Madwoman's Stones, Crookstone Knoll before droppomg to the Blackley Hey Path down to Upper Ashop [with] Tony [weather] Hot day with sunny spells, glad of the wind once up on the Kinder plateau - Crookstone Knoll has one of the best views of all the walks we'd done previously in the area (Win Hill, Great Ridgeway, Alport Castles, Derwent/Stanage Edge). Couldn't find a recommended path (not marked on OS map) from Upper Ashop towards Blackden Barn so ended up walking back to start along Snake Road (not a great way to end an otherwise fabulous walk)

Louis Smith climbed Crookstone Knoll (Kinder Scout) during June, 2013 [from/via/route] unsure of date

Wayne Linley bagged Crookstone Knoll (Kinder Scout) on October 28th, 2015 [from/via/route] Edale-Ringing Roger-corporations knoll -win hill [with] Simon Fleming and Craig morris [weather] Raining / overcast. Low cloud very wet . No wind though - Quality mountain day

John Gehrke hiked Crookstone Knoll (Kinder Scout) on September 10th, 2013 [from/via/route] walk d108 [with] cgq [weather] windy
