John Herbert walked up on August 21st, 2011 [from/via/route] Tourist path from parking area [with] Solo [weather] Clear day with intermittent cloud - which typically was low over the summit as I was there and cleared 20 minutes after leaving the summit - A nice walk, but the boulder fields need to be taken with some care - I did take a forward tumble as I started the descent from the summit and if it had not been for the handle of my walking pole striking the rock first, I think I may well have damaged my wrist, if not broken it - otherrwise a very good walk
Mr M A Blanchard, Simon Duerden, Phyllis Mcgibbon, Paul Booth, Michael Waterfield, Trevor Williams, Geert Gritter and Adam Shewry have all walked, climbed & bagged Schiehallion.
