Melfyn Parry walked up Post Gwyn on April 27th, 2025 [from/via/route] Followed route PO155 but as I was only interested in the Nuttall, i.e. Post Gwyn I didn't ascend Y Clogydd choosing instead to skirt around the left side to meet the path down to Craig y Mŵn & then descending sharply towards the disused incline to join the leat to head back to the waterfall. [with] On my own [weather] It was a lovely day, bright & generally quite warm - Excellent views in all directions from the top. Whilst there were lots of people around the waterfall once away from this fantastic spectacle there was no one else on this hill, peace & tranquility until back at the start. Avoiding Y Clogydd & Glan Hafon (Y Garn) meant the walk was an easy 6 miler.
Christina Lander climbed Post Gwyn on July 29th, 2024 [from/via/route] Pistyll Rhaeadr - to the top of the waterfall - followed the Afon Disgynfa - crossed the bridge, & ascended across bracken, then tried to find a path without much luck across bilberry & heather - finally arrived at Post Gwyn - returned along the ridge over Y Clogydd - then to Craig-y-mwn, & a lovely path diagonally down across the cliff back to the start [with] Dick [weather] A beautiful, hot sunny day - During our holiday staying at Y Gilfach, Bryn Melyn, Llandderfel
