Beinn a' Bhuiridh means Hill of Roaring Stags

The highest point of this walk is Ben Cruachan at 1126m (3696ft). Ben Cruachan is classified as a Munro (No. 31) and a Marilyn (26th highest in Scotland, 26th highest in the UK). Ben Cruachan is also known as a Murdo or Munro Top (42nd highest in Scotland).

Completing this walk also take you to the top of Stob Dearg (Taynuilt Peak), 1104m (3623ft). Stob Dearg (Taynuilt Peak) is known as a Murdo or Munro Top (64th highest in Scotland).

You will also reach the summit of Drochaid Ghlas (Ben Cruachan), 1009m (3312ft). Drochaid Ghlas (Ben Cruachan) is known as a Murdo or Munro Top (173rd highest in Scotland).

Along the way you will also bag Stob Diamh, 998m (3275ft) - a Munro (No. 143) and a Murdo or Munro Top (200th highest in Scotland); Stob Garbh (Stob Diamh) 980m (3216ft) - a Murdo or Munro Top (245th highest in Scotland) and Beinn a' Bhuiridh 897m (2944ft) - a Corbett (No. 26), and Scottish Marilyn (228th Sco, 240th UK).
