David Peebles walked up on July 27th, 2024 [from/via/route] Layby just round from Succoth [with] Solo walk [weather] Mixed.Mostly sunny.

Daniel Moran climbed it on May 24th, 2024 [from/via/route] Power station [with] Alex [weather] Humid - Bit of scrambling, decent path straight up & down

Julie Buckley bagged it during April, 2014 [from/via/route] Power station [with] Husband [weather] Cold & clear

Andrew Edwards hiked it on August 25th, 2015 [from/via/route] From inveruglas normal route [with] Just myself [weather] Sunny - Nice walk great hill to climb

Simon Lewis summited during September, 2003 [from/via/route] Direct [with] Solo - MTB access

John Herbert conquered it on October 9th, 2011 [from/via/route] Parked at Inveruglas & took the road the track towards Loch Sloy dam before taking the direct route from the small bridge over the boggy area & up the hillside path to the summit - minor scramble at the bad step just below the summit [with] HWD ramblers group [weather] Low cloud base - about 300m - so the view were very restricted once on the higher levels - wind at the summit was very strong - one couple already there when we arrived & were sitting huddled at the cairn - strong enough the we had to lean into & struggle the few metres on the flat summit to the cairn. - Was an interesting day - we probably took the wrong approach to the bad step on the upward climb & made it more difficult then it actually is, as on the downward climb we found an easier way to get down this awkward little piece.

Mark Davidson scaled on June 25th, 2007 [with] Theresa came part way up but didn't like the wind so went back down [weather] Dry & sunny - though a little windy!

Mr M A Blanchard, Paul Booth, Ron Blundell, Simon Duerden, Ceri Murray, Trevor Williams, Geert Gritter and Adam Shewry have all walked, climbed & bagged Ben Vane.
