Lucy Perchard walked up on August 21st, 2017 [from/via/route] I was born in Pentyrch which is at the foot of this hill and have walked it too many times to mention! [with] Too many people to list here! [weather] All weathers - Great views over Cardiff and the Bristol Channel to the south and up to the Brecon Beacons to the North. It was the inspiration for "Ffynnon Garw", the fictional mountain (or hill) featured in the book, and later, film, "The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain" by Christopher Monger. Great film!
Keith Bezant climbed on April 4th, 2013 [from/via/route] Taffs Well via Gwaelod-Y-Garth [with] Solo [weather] Overcast and blustery on top - I use the 'The Garth' as a training run for any further hills/mountains that I may be thinking of walking
