600 at 60

Fifteen years ago, I started using go4awalk with the idea of climbing the highest fifty Wainwrights before I was fifty. As I approach my 60th birthday in a fortnight, I have just climbed my 600th Fell.
That is the end of my official peak bagging but not the end of fell walking. I will just climb my favourites from now on. Finding fells within easy reach is getting harder and I just want to enjoy walking without worrying about whether the fell is a new one or not.
I just want to say,'Thank you' to go4awalk because without this site I would never have had the confidence to explore so many areas and climb so many fells. Without go4awalk I don't think I would have believed myself capable of completing the 10 in 10 challenge which I did on the 22nd of June.
