I've worn the GoLite Phantasm on a couple of Lake District walking trips in late Spring. I'm 5'10" and was wearing the XL size. Overall the jacket fitted pretty well although the cut doesn't provide that much 'rump cover'. However the sleeve length is good and the mobility around the shoulder area was also fine. The sleeve cuffs are part elasticated, part velcro closure which isn't entirely to my preference but did the job on this extremely light weight jacket.
Despite its light weight, it really did keep me perfectly dry through a couple of really quite heavy lakeland showers. I tend to 'run hot' but there didn't appear to be any real problems with condensation. The priority of the designers was clearly achieving a really light weight so there are no luxuries such as pit zips - the only ventilation option is opening the front zip.
There are 2 pockets outside each with a waterproof zip. These are basically hand-wamer pockets so aren't big enough for an OS map and aren't accessible whilst wearing a belted backpack. There are two 'dry' pockets inside which will just take a folded OS map - but obviously these aren't accessible without unbuckling your backpack either.
My only other complaint was the hood - it isn't wired which I think does make it less than ideal.
The GoLite Phantasm is what it claims to be ie an extremely light weight, waterproof, breathable jacket that packs down fantastically well. It's eminently stowable at the bottom of your pack back 'just in case'. So if you need a good, reliable, really waterproof jacket - and weight/space reduction is your priority, then this is worth a serious look.
