Walk ny110 Hardraw Force and Pike Hill from Hawes

England's highest waterfall - worth a visit

Route outline for walk ny110:

- Hawes  -   The Pennine Way  -   The Herriot Way  -   Haylands Bridge  -   The River Ure  -   Hardraw  -   Hardraw Force  -   Shaw Gill Wood  -   Simonstone Hotel  -   High Shaw  -   Shivery Gill  -   Pike Hill  -   Abbotside Common  -   Low Clint  -   High Pasture Gate  -   Shutt Lane  -   Sedbusk  -   Hawes.

Points of Interest/Notes on this walk:

At 30m (100ft), Hardraw Force is the tallest single drop waterfall in England (above ground). It lies on private ground and can only be accessed through the Green Dragon Inn in Hardraw (fee payable - this is Yorkshire!). The volume of water is relatively small so the falls are best viewed after heavy rain.
