Nine Standards Rigg is also known as an English Nuttall (180th highest in England, 306th highest in England & Wales) and an English Marilyn (43rd highest in England, 673rd highest in the UK).

The summit of Nine Standards Rigg is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.

Completing this walk will also take you to the top of Nateby Common (Tailbridge Hill) at 547m (1795ft). Nateby Common (Tailbridge Hill) is also known as an English Dewey (76th highest in England, 178th in England & Wales)
