I am a Female Walker, in my late 60s, based near Cambridge

My Message: I am a member of two walking groups;we walk around Cambridgeshire on the whole, but I'd like a friend to walk some coastal paths, in Wales and Ireland- anywhere really.

I'm happy to camp and use hostels. Equally happy to fork out for reasonably priced hotels.

A bit more about me:

I can cope with a little bit of scrambling if it is short and there are no steep drops. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. Sadly, my map reading & navigation skills are pretty hopeless. I can drive and have a car.

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
