I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near West Yorkshire

My Message: Hello. I'm looking for a male and female friends for local, regional or even national walks.

My mountaineering Welsh brother in law calls me a car park walker since I normally join 5-8 mile circular walks that don't involve needing to scramble down some hill on me bum. I enjoy scenery and wildlife and have pottered all around Yorkshire, Ambleside, Langdale Valley, Malvern Hills. I'm a '..have car, will travel...' kinda girl. I'm normally at church most Sunday mornings so evenings or Saturdays are best for me. My kind of walk ends with a pub as opposed to a tragic sandwich in my rucksack. I'm such a townie, I'm ashamed :-)

I also enjoy camping and fair weather cycling although a recent arm injury has clipped my wings on both. (no pun intended).

I'm rubbish at map reading and navigating although I am learning.

A bit more about me:

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. Sadly, my map reading & navigation skills are pretty hopeless. I can drive and have a car.
