I am a Female Walker, in my late 40s, based near Wigan

My Message: After being dormant and in hibernation it's now time to get my favourite walking boots back out and get those cobwebs blown away :)
Have walked around the Lakes previously I do like Derwent water,
but my true love is the Highlands, nothing to hard but wild swimming is a bonus.
Work full time in very demanding job so weekends will be my time to start walking again.
Life is too short and we only get one crack at it, so let's live life and enjoy it.

A bit more about me:

I can cope with a little bit of scrambling if it is short and there are no steep drops. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I like walking with dogs and will bring my own. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.
