I am a Female Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Kingston

My Message: Hi, I'm Mary, looking to meet up with people who are starting out walking on a regular basis.
I live near Kingston, so walks around London, Surrey, and south east are good. I've been on a couple of walking holidays, but would like to incorporate a walk into my week a couple of times a month. I work full time, but it's shift work so times vary and can be available during the week as well as weekend.
My hobbies are cooking, crafts, reading, psychology. I would like to start walking regularly and progress to longer walks which are further afield.

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.

Important: For the avoidence of doubt I am definitely not looking for anything other than someone to go walking with.
