I am a Female Walker, in my early 50s, based near Warminster
My Message: Hi! I'm hoping to meet a walking buddy for half day, full day or multi day hikes. Some camping would be great also - especially wild camping. I particularly love walking in Dartmoor/Exmoor but am pretty much open to anyting
I am generally fairly quiet and self contained, but would love to have someone to appreciate everything time in the hills and off the beaten track offers. I currently solo walk (with my dog), have my own car and usually have a day or two off in the week. Not so available during weekends currently
If any of this sounds interesting, please do drop me a line and say hi!
My Preferred Walk Grades*: 3:4:5:6:7:8:
My Preferred Walk Areas:
South West England;

A bit more about me:
I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure.
With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs.
I like walking with dogs and will bring my own.
To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average.
I can drive and have a car.
I am also interested in:
- Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
- Peak Bagging - where the aim is to climb all the hills or mountains on a particular list such as 'bagging' all the Wainwrights or Munros;
- Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
- Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;
I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
