I am a Male Walker, in my early 60s, based near Aylesbury
My Message: I am a lifelong walker and currently average about 5 walks per week, anything between 5 and 15 miles around and about Aylesbury Vale.In the past I have completed several long distance walks for charity including Coast to Coast and the Macmillan Way.Ideally looking for a male buddy in my area, however will be looking to travel down to the Test Valley area for the day to do some walking round Jane Austen country and Watership Down, if anyone in that area is interested. Also would like to go camping in the New Forest for a couple of days and do some walking there. Initially would be great to find someone who would like to join me for a tramp around the Bucks countryside. As for hobbies I'm interested in Astronomy, reading and Art.I'm free all day Monday to Friday.If you're interested please get in touch!
My Preferred Walk Grades*: 2:3:4:
My Preferred Walk Areas:

A bit more about me:
I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure.
I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on.
I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other.
I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good.
I can drive and have a car.
I am also interested in:
- Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
- Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
Important: For the avoidence of doubt I am definitely not looking for anything other than someone to go walking with.
