I am a Female Walker, in my early 60s, based near Warminster, Wiltshire

My Message: Hi, I live in Warminster, Wiltshire. I am looking for both male and female walking companions. I am now retired which gives me free time during the week as well as weekends.

I am very happy to walk locally but also really wish to explore new areas. I have walked some sections of the South West Coast Path and West Wales Coast Path and would love to walk more.

I am not a hardened walker but enjoy walks from 5 to 12 miles and occasionally longer weekend/few days walking. To finish off occasionally with a pub meal is an attractive thought. I love the outdoors and really appreciate the countryside and scenery on route.

A bit more about me:

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
Road Cycling

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
