I am a Male Walker, in my mid 30s, based near Okehampton
My Message: Looking for a walking buddy who is fairly local to me. I enjoy walking alone but would like to explore Dartmoor with someone else and possibly the SW coastal path. I'm currently walking the same 2 hour route every day as a kind of fitness/meditation during lockdown. I work overnight in a hotel, so any day is technically fine to go walking. It would be great to build up to more challenging walks, LE-JOG would be a good one (cycled it many years ago!) But a shorter walk with a pub at the end - also good.
My Preferred Walk Grades*: 2:3:4:5:6:
My Preferred Walk Areas:
South West England;

A bit more about me:
I can cope with a little bit of scrambling if it is short and there are no steep drops.
With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs.
I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other.
To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average.
I can drive and have a car.
I am also interested in:
- Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
- Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
- Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
- Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;
I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
