I am a Female Walker, in my late 50s, based near Stoke-on-trent

My Message: I have always loved walking but recently got back into hiking proper in the last few months, but unfortunately my walking partner has moved away. I would really like to continue to enjoy the Peak district and surrounding areas and to make new friends. I am around most weekends and would love to just keep walking 😀. I enjoy to chat and take time to enjoy the countryside as well as building up my walking skills and hope there are people out there who will accompany me 😀

A bit more about me:

I can cope with a little bit of scrambling if it is short and there are no steep drops. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. Sadly, my map reading & navigation skills are pretty hopeless. I can drive and have a car.

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
