I am a Male Walker, in my late 60s, based near Bath

My Message: I am in my late 60's and live on the edge of Bath close to the Cotswold Way. I used to walk with my wife but she passed away in late 2020 and since then I have either walked with a group or alone, but group walking is not my preferred option as I like to be able to stop and take in the views when appropriate and this is not so easy when in a group.
If a walk can be combined with a pub or cafe visit part way through or at the end all the better.
I usually walk around 6 - 8 miles but can easily do up to 10 - 12. Equally I am happy on shorter walks of 5. I have completed over 75% of the SW Coast Path and I would be interested in other long distance paths such as the coast to coast. I would like to finish the SW Coast Path, I have gaps in the South Devon and Dorset areas.
My general interests centre around sport, heritage and outdoor life. I volunteer at a local city farm and do footpath improvement work in my local area. I have a disabled daughter and am / have been involved with associated charity and campaign groups.
Being retired I can usually be available to walk most days subject to my volunteering roles.
I have walked a lot around the Mendips and South Cotswolds but have also spent a fair amount of time on the Quantocks, Exmoor, Dorset coast and East Devon areas.
I would like to find a similar minded person to join me on walks both in my local area and further afield.
My Preferred Walk Grades*: 1:2:3:4:5:
My Preferred Walk Areas:
The English Midlands; Wales; The Heart of England; South East England; South West England;

A bit more about me:
When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it.
With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs.
I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other.
To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average.
I can drive and have a car.
I am also interested in:
- Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
- Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
