I am a Male Walker, in my mid 30s, based near Lake District
My Message: Hi,
I have only recently started to really embrace walking and hiking. I have completed a few challenging peaks and now looking for more. Looking to find like minded people, game for a laugh and great sense of humour to enjoy on a walk! I live in the Lake District so it's all on my doorstep but also looking to travel to new areas for new challenges. I have played sport for a long time and maintain a good level of fitness. Available for mid week or weekend walks depending on shift patterns. Meet new people, have a laugh and enjoy the scenery with a beer at the end of the day!
My Preferred Walk Grades*: 1:2:3:4:5:6:7:8:9:
My Preferred Walk Areas:
North West Scotland; Southern Scotland; North West England; Yorkshire; The English Midlands; Wales; East Anglia; The Heart of England; South West England;

A bit more about me:
I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure.
I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on.
I like walking with dogs and will bring my own.
To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average.
I can drive and have a car.
I am also interested in:
- Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
- Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
- Peak Bagging - where the aim is to climb all the hills or mountains on a particular list such as 'bagging' all the Wainwrights or Munros;
- Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
- Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;
- Mountain Biking
- Skiing and/or Snowboarding
- Wild Swimming
Important: For the avoidence of doubt I am definitely not looking for anything other than someone to go walking with.
