Male Walker in my early 50s based near Powys looking for new friends to go walking with.

I am a Male Walker, in my early 50s, based near Powys

My Message: I bought a book with a route from Penmaenmawr to Swansea Bay when I was 25, 26 years later I've yet to walk one part of that route. I've bought a few more books since then with the pages well thumbed but not put into action. I'm looking for walking groups, triples, couples, singles even stray pet dogs who fancy a slog, hike or stroll anywhere in North, Mid or South Wales. Happy with wild camping or tame pubs, just get me out please! (The lack of a photo doesn't mean I'm weird looking, just the webpage not working properly)

A bit more about me:

When it comes to Scrambling & Edges I'm OK with the occasional edge or scramble but don't go looking for it. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.

I am also interested in:

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;
Offshore Sailing
