I am a Female Walker, in my early 70s, based near East Sussex

My Message: Hi, my name is Bette. I have always loved walking but abandoned it somewhat when I started playing golf. During lockdown I have rediscovered the joys of having the South Downs on my doorstep and now back in love with walking once more. I'm spontaneous, fit, love a picnic, sunshine, and happy to drive anywhere.

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. Sorry, but I really do not like walking with Dogs. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.
