I am a Female Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Aberystwyth

My Message: Hi,
I am quite a sociable person but now live in a beautiful rural spot in Mid Wales where there are lots of sheep and not so many people! This brings advantages and disadvantages-so I thought popping up a message on here might be the perfect way to enjoy all the countryside advantages whilst tackling the main disadvantage head-on - ie meeting new folk :)
I have always enjoyed countryside walking and do it most days- however after an ankle injury a few years ago I can no longer do steep slopes. I work from home flexibly (even before 2020 came along!) so I could meet up most days. I have 2 affectionate and bouncy labradoodles and it would be nice to bring them along if the walk was suitable for them to be off the lead, however for cliff walks and through fields of sheep I would probably leave them at home with my teenagers.
I'm looking forward to some interesting chats :)

A bit more about me:

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. I prefer warm, dry & sunny weather but can cope with the odd shower. I like walking with dogs and will bring my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.
