I am a Male Walker, in my mid 50s, based near Gwynedd

My Message: Hi all, I'm Mark. I live in Snowdonia National Park. I have self catering holiday accommodation here so get in touch if you're looking for somewhere to stay. Having lived here for 10 years now I'm ashamed to say that there are so many local places I haven't had time to explore (long story!) so ideally looking for guys who would be happy to go for walks in this and other areas with me. I am a gentle soul, intelligent, thoughtful and really interested in people so do get in touch if you are up for sharing your map reading skills with a willing companion. I love history, archaeology, nature and my Welsh is improving, too. I garden for a living and love being outdoors.

A bit more about me:

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
