I am a Female Walker, in my mid 40s, based near Milnthorpe

My Message: I'm looking for walking friends initially, people to talk to and hopefully laugh with! I'm staying fairly local at the minute but do a long distance path when I can. I'm 45 almost, and would prefer to meet someone of a similar age.

A bit more about me:

I can cope with a little bit of scrambling if it is short and there are no steep drops. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I'm not bothered about dogs one way or the other. To be honest, my map reading & navigation skills are a bit averagely average. I can drive and have a car.

Camping on Campsites - Camping where there is a shop, toilets, showers & possibly a pub;
Wild Camping - Camping out in the wilds well away from anyone & any facilities;
Long Distance Path Walking - Multi-day walks like The Pennine Way, Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk;
Back Packing - Multi-day walks carrying all your gear & wild camping;

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
