I am a Female Walker, in my late 50s, based near Aberdeen

My Message: I can plod along quite happily provided that there aren't too many steep bits, as I'm not that fit yet, though hoping to improve! I am interested in (but no expert on) flora and fauna (especially birds), so would value meeting others who have knowledge in these areas. Since I'm not currently working full-time, my availability is flexible. My motivation is to be more active via fun and adventure. I'm also a spiritual soul who appreciates the meditative and healing powers of nature.

A bit more about me:

I really don't like Scrambling & Edges - they are defintely not for me. I'm happy to walk in all weathers - sunshine, snow, hail, wind & rain - bring it on. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. If pushed, I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are rather poor at best. I can drive and have a car.

I am not actively looking for anyone other than a new walking companion but if that right person came along . . .
